Die Kunshuis in Strand, Helderberg is a vibrant creative space where anyone can explore their artistic potential, regardless of experience. Since opening its doors in 2014, Die Kunshuis has grown into a cherished local institution – a true destination for both the young and the young at heart. Here, we experiment with various mediums and diverse artistic tools to bring beautiful artworks to life.
Beyond our regular sessions
Die Kunshuis hosts engaging workshops, organises inspiring art route outings and throws unforgettable creative parties.
We also collaborate with local venues to proudly display and celebrate our local artists’t work. At Die Kunshuis, creativity is a shared experience and lasting friendships are formed around the studio tables and easels.

Once a month Die Kunshuis arrange an Art Route Outing to different towns and villages with galleries.
Exhibitions
Die Kunshuis collaborates with several venues to showcase the work of both established and up-and-coming artists.
Drumming
Die Kunshuis and Drumba collaborate at The Gordon’s Bay Yacht Club every last Tuesday of the month.
Workshops
We host several workshops at Die Kunshuis and at other venues and everyone is welcome.
